Day 300 – Scheherazade Symphony – Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

My first encounter with classical music, that I could recall,  happened when I was 6: It must have been a Friday and my father was working on a translation piece  while listening to this symphony. I remember him calling me to his office and explaining the music and the story behind it … I wish he was here to tell me about it one last time.
